To rent a car with Alpha Rent-a-Car you must be at least 25 years old and have held a driving licence for at least 3 years.

You need your driving licence (front and back) and an ID card or residence card. A passport is a travel document, not an identity document for rental purposes.

Message us anytime on WhatsApp at +40 748 166 966. Tell us pickup and return dates and times, and any details about the car you want.

We take phone bookings between 09:00 and 21:00. If we cannot answer immediately, please wait — we will call you back as soon as possible.

If you land at the airport, our agents track your flight in real time and meet you there. The rental handover usually takes under 5 minutes.

The minimum rental period is 3 days. Even if you need the car for two days, three days are charged, though exceptions are sometimes possible.

Full insurance covers most vehicle damage, with exceptions such as flat tyres, lost keys, wrong fuel, smoking in the car, damaged child seats, a fully drained battery due to negligence, and interior/exterior cleaning fees.

We require a €100 fuel deposit on every Full insurance rental. Return the car with a full tank and the receipt from the last refill to get the deposit back on the spot. In a road incident you must notify the police and the rental company. After an accident you need the repair authorisation, the amicable agreement, and the other vehicle’s documents; otherwise Full cover may become void.

Pick-up or drop-off outside 08:00–21:00 incurs a €10 extra-hour fee per service.

The car is handed over clean, with contract, handover report and photos. If you return it dirty, the cleaning fee is €20 for 5-seat cars and €40 for 7- or 9-seat vehicles. If it is clean, there is no fee.

We accept any payment method, as long as we are informed in advance.

Both the security deposit and the fuel deposit are returned instantly when you hand the car back.

An option that covers superficial scratches up to €500. Choosing Full insurance also reduces the deposit by 50%.

Our vehicles may not leave the territory of Romania.

Three additional fees: extra-hour (€10 per service) outside business hours; cleaning (€20–40 depending on the car); smoking in the car (€100).

A credit card is not required to reserve a car with Alpha Rent-a-Car.

Contact the reservations team on the number shown on the website to check availability. Extensions can be paid by bank transfer or by card on the site.

If your plans change and you return early, we issue a discount voucher equal to the unused rental value. The voucher does not expire.

All vehicles are no-smoking. Breaking this rule incurs a €100 smoking fee.
